About me

I am basically a computer geek who loves photographing anything and everything! I live approx 4miles north of Newbury, Berkshire, in the lovely village of Chieveley (perhaps better known for its link with Chieveley services at J13 on the M4!).

I have worked with computers for over 30 years including programming, teaching, desk top publishing, designing, web site creation and management and image manipulation.

I would love to say I was given a camera at a very young age and the rest is history but I didn’t get in to photography until, in my forties, I went back to college to study for an HND in Graphic Design. One of the modules was photography and since then have just loved creating imagery.

I have a studio at home which allows me to create images without stepping outside my front door – great on wet, cold rainy English days! This is where I have truly embraced what is now called styled stock photography.

As both our girls have left the nest (although they do seem to keep coming back for short periods!), my life revolves around walking the dog, general household duties (at a push!) and my photography whether it be creating sets in my studio, editing images (a huge part of my life!) and then putting them for sale in my Etsy shop and various other agencies that I sell images on.

Please feel free to browse my site and get in touch if you have any queries.

As this is an about me page I have added a few images of me and my family, as you can see I’m a bit of a smiler:)
